Commercial and Regional Airline Training in Atlanta, GA


As a training organization, FlightSafety has studied, developed, and utilizes the instructional tools necessary to ensure that each client is trained to proficiency. The flight attendant curriculum includes clearly defined objectives and lesson plans to ensure the required material is presented in a methodical, detail oriented sequence yet clearly formatted to maximize comprehension. FlightSafety understands that crewmembers are expected to perform at a level compatible with the highest standards; our courses are managed and implemented at a level consistent with that philosophy.


FlightSafety is certificated by the FAA and can be authorized by a Certificate Holder to conduct training for crewmembers operating under 14CFR parts 121, 125, and 135.


Hands-On Training


We continually validate our commitment to realistic, scenario-based training by utilizing actual or training units for the operation of emergency and survival equipment. Our hands-on approach, aids in the retention of skills. In addition to scenario-based classroom instruction, we utilize a pool for realistic ditching drills, a myriad of actual and simulated emergency equipment and an Aircraft Cabin Fire Trainer (ACFT) for fire training drills in a realistic yet safe environment. Our Cabin Trainers provide an authentic environment to learn emergency procedures. These devices deliver unparalleled training experiences.

Curriculum


The FlightSafety curriculum was approved by the FAA however; our curriculum will be modified to meet the operators’ approved training curriculum.

FlightSafety validates each Instructors experience through an extensive background check. This ensures that all of our team members have an appropriate level of experience and competence. The Atlanta flight attendant Instructor corps has more than 150 years of combined aviation experience as Instructors, Managers of In-flight and supervisors in addition to line experience. The qualification process for instructors is defined by our operations manual, executed and monitored as a process of our ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS). The Atlanta Center was ISO 9001 Certified in 2006.

  • Crew Emergency Training (1.5 days or 12 hours)
    This course meets the requirements of 135.331 & 121.417 and was developed for those operators who wish to capitalize on the many years of research and expertise of FlightSafety to conduct the emergency segments of training.

  • Enhanced Fire Training (1 day)
    A specially designed Aircraft Cabin Fire Training (ACFT) Device ensures the highest level of proficiency in cabin firefighting skills using standard aviation firefighting equipment in a real fire and smoke environment.

  • Enhanced Water-Evacuation Training (1 day)
    Accomplished in a pool using standard aviation survival equipment including rafts, life preservers, etc. This exercise facilitates a realistic and practical survival training experience.

  • Passenger Emergency Training (1 day)
    Aircraft passengers learn about potential emergency and non-emergency situations they may encounter aboard an aircraft. Attendees receive instruction on how to assist the crew and respond safely.
